But I digress. I was there to cover the game for the Northwest Current and needed a good shot of Visitation's Kelly Myers for a feature story. Being an all-star game it was hard to key in on her -- there were constant player rotations to get everyone playing time and I was a little out of touch shooting lacrosse ( The last time I shot it was back on Memorial Day weekend). But with just a few minutes remaining in the game, I came up with a clutch shot that will like be my main image in this week's paper.
Patience and anticipation were key to nailing this shot. Knowing the sport well and catching on to the sets D.C. was running helped and I was locked in to capture the shot.
